All About My Romance 5 & 6 Induced Curiosity

Soo Young and Min Young spend the interview thinking out Soo's confession. At the end of it, he pretends he said nothing and runs away, after using the excuse of commemorative photos to grope her a little, of course.

Bo Shik is trying to get his aide to take down a video of his faux pas at the questioning. But because Bo Shik is so dumb, his aide manages to convince him that its a good thing.

Min Young is in a confused daze. She tells Yoon Hee politics aside she had made the decision not to love again after she's had to bury her first love in her heart. Shooh, what a terrible idea. Yoon Hee agrees with me. Joon Ha comes over to pick them up or whatevs, and they have an obviously old argument about Joon Ha leaving her to fend for herself and he can continue he career like a sensible person. But the ghost of love grips strong in Joon Ha's heart and he says she has to quit politics first. I say Hero Bs are idiots. When they get home, he makes her delete Soo's nekkids from her phone. She deletes them under his comically watchful eyes. Except Min has copied them to her tablet.

She thinks he wants her to quit politics because she's a useless dingbat. He tells he it's because she's making too many personal sacrifices. Hint Hint. But so is he. The both say they are satisfied with Bo Ri Love ¬.¬ Bo Ri isn't happy to hear this. Even Aunt wonders about his 'needs'. So do I. I'm pretty sure if Joon asked her to quit politics cos he liked her before Soo came into orbit, she would have done it. Eventually.

After Joon Ha leaves, she excitedly looks at Soo's nekkid pics, and foolishly wonders what's wrong with her. Normal people would already know that they are into someone when they begin to drool over someone pale chest and nips. Alas, we know K-drama heroines are not normal people, they from the Planet Denial.

Soo goes drinking solo and plays 'she-loves-me-nots' with edamame beans. Meng comes to join him. Along the way, he guesses that Soo's current obsession is Min. Min calls Soo to ask him what's with him liking her. He chooses not to tell her anything, so she can be as curious about him. He's far too happy about this. Meng enjoys teasing him.

After drinks with Meng, he goes to Min's house where she corners him at the gates. They go to a park and he requests a five minute nap on her shoulder. She agrees and takes out her phone and sets a timer. Except she doesn't wake him up in five minutes, she keeps resetting the timer.  When Soo gets home, he flashes back, he was awake in five minutes but notices her resetting the time, so he takes his skin-ship opportunity like a man.

The next morning, it is raining, and on rainy days the house of reps gets calls from NEETs and conspiracy theorists, though I don't think those are mutually exclusive. On his way to work, Soo sees Bo Ri going to school so he picks her up. She thinks he wants to kidnap her. They have their first semi-friendly conversation where he finds out Bo Ri has seen his nips.

He cries a little.

At the ant warren, Soo sees Min walking out into the rain and he follows her. She has a boring flash back about the rainy day she gets the call her sister has been in an accident and drops her umbrella. Soo steps in with his, but she's not happy to see him. She doesn't want to know about him anymore. I think pretending you don't like the guy after letting him doze for half an hour on your shoulder is a bit nonsensical but...He's upset, naturally, but asks her to follow him where he's headed.

Bo Shik and Dong Sook run into each other, they peck at each other, and still manage not to get a room. He makes fun of her 'Worst Dressed' title whilst she digs in the knife with his lack of tendered/passed bills.

Sun Hee is happily traversing the halls of the ant warren and she runs into Joon Ha who is not pleased with her labeling Min as the 'Most Violent Politician'.

On their way, Min and Soo meet Joon Ha and Sun Hee still in discussion. Sun Hee and Min have words, whilst the two men just stand back and watch the show.

Where's the fire extinguisher?
When it's over, Soo and Min head where they want which is Daddykins office. He interrupts Daddykins pitifully scolding Bo Shik again, and presents him with Min's bills. Daddykins says he'll consider it. The Harlots come in but the Young pair greet them and leave. Once they are out, Soo asks Min if he's cool now, she merely thanks him for his help and coldly walks off  to Planet Denial.

Hee Sun is operating under the assumption that lopsidedly liking someone gives her carte blanche on who her object of affection hangs out with. Soo currently upset about his cold reception from Min, finally tells it to her in the way she should understand. She leaves upset. For now.

After a good night's sleep, Soo Young chooses not to be dissuaded by Min Young and goes after her again, this time at a regional meeting that the GKP and the FPP have concocted to put them together to show the public that the parties who hate each other the most are cooperating.

Before the meeting ends he gets Sang Soo to distract Yoon Hee, while he spends more time with Min.

She goes to the market and he follows and behaves like he's an alien watching human interaction.

They predictably get into trouble, Soo gets an egg in the face, and they end up in an alleyway. They talk about the incident for a bit but it eventually turns to the state of their hearts. He tells her she's scared of her growing feelings for him. Not when she looks at your nekkid pics she ain't. He tells her that's how he was but after a while he wants to give it a chance. She is surprised he's not doing this on a whimsy but she has to be strong so she goes to town on the insults while rejecting his affections. She stalks off, leaving her purchases. Soo is understandably sad about this. He's so sad he returns to work in a haze of despair with Min's potatoes. She comes back to look for her potatoes but finds him and them gone. She goes back into the the alley and slumps down.

Joon Ha and Dong Sook are talking about a bill on rapists, when Yoon Ki rushes in to tell them that Soo was attacked by a boiled egg while Min was with him.

Min feels so guilty she falls ill on the way home. Riight. Joon Ha meets her at the door, the incident at the market in already on twitter. It seems market people can't sort their financial and social futures out, but they have fancy mobile phones to twitter with! Such is the way of the world.

But he realises that she's fallen ill so he goes easy on her. He puts her to bed and cares for her. It's not even heart warming I just want him to go away so that Soo can come and jump into bed with her.

Hee Sun; for someone who labelled another with the title of 'Worst Dressed', I wonder if she's ever looked in a mirror. Hee Sun spies Soo arriving back in a taxi, as she's reading about the egg incident.

She chases the taxi. Woman should know by now, if you have to chase so hard, you should just give up. She chases Soo to the entrance but walks ahead of him, pretending she's hasn't just chased a taxi like an over excited chihuahua. She engineers being on the lift with him so he can apologise to her. Since he's just been cruelly rejected he understands how Hee Sun currently feels so he apologises for being so cruel previously.

Still a sloppy journalist, though.
He says they can have coffee or dinner sometimes but she should not take it as more than it is. She nods happily.

When he gets to his office, he collapses on a chair. And stays there till the sun goes down.

Min is in the middle of a light nap when the phone beeps a text is in, Soo tells her he's dropped her potatoes. She goes out to get them, but because of her one day fever she's too ill to pick up the bag of potatoes. Riiiigh ¬.¬. Anyhoo the potatoes fall onto Soo's feet, who was trying to get a view of her where she won't see him. But now she has, he talks for a bit. He's surprised she's ill, but he says a fun proverb about punchers and punchees. Punchees sleep well, while punchers don't, apparently.

He tells her he won't retire, but he will try to get over her. If he doesn't he will ask her out again, if she refuses he will ask her out again. In essence, he's giving her more chances to be sure about how she feels about him. She replies that's asking for more chances but he ignores the comment.

Soo goes home, all lonesome. Min tries to sleep the sleep of the non-guilty; comfortably. Joon Ha is annoyed about them being together.

She returns to work, hale and hearty, with Yoon Hee and Joon Ha by her side. They meet Soo Young and his pair, Sang Soo and Meng. Meng and Sang Soo greet them cordially but Soo coldly glances at them without greeting. Min is chagrined at the cold shoulder Soo was giving her. The enter the lifts together and spend the time eyeing each other. So do Yoon Hee and Sang Soo. Joon Ha elbows Soo out of the way to adjust Min's collar whilst giving Soo the eveeel eye. Meng sees, and tries not to burst out laughing at the ridiculousness of it all.

Ya looking at me looking at you looking at me?
I ain't looking at you.
LOL

Meng and Soo take a walk on the grounds talking about the state of things between Soo and Min. Meng advices Soo to use trickery, but as we know that is not his thing. But Meng tells him that dating is like politics, you have to use manoeuvres. Only in K-drama land, Meng, only in your weird small worlds.

He gets a call from Joon Ha, instead of ignoring him like a sensible person, he goes to see what he wants. It's the same spiel, stay way from Min Young or nekkid pics on the net. Soo doesn't care anymore, Bo Ri has seen it. Tells him to go ahead, the pics are cool anyway and he won't get in trouble but Joon Ha will. Joon Ha chooses another tack; chasing Min is bad for her and her political career, she gets into trouble whenever she's with Soo. Soo wonders what Joon's deal is? Why does it bother him so much? Are his motives pure? Joon Ha says his motives are none of Soo business. Soo agrees, but by the same rule, Soo's affairs are none of Joon's business.

Meng on the other hand is beginning to pull strings like a puppet master. He's studied Min's habits and chooses a path she would follow, drags Sang Soo, who is such a moron he plays perfect patsy to Meng's manipulations. Min is caught in Meng's web, and is indeed worried that Soo is not eating because of 'love-sickness'. His plan reaches new heights when he somehow manages to make Soo fighting for his chopsticks to eat look like he's trying to make Soo eat from Min's perspective.

Bo Shik is still upset about his label of being a rep with no bills. He's been too busy brown nosing everyone to make one. He's also still upset with Dong Sook for not accepting his heart when they were younger. She was his senior in uni? and she called him a baby when he asked her out. I guess that's why he calls her 'Noona', even though he supposedly hates her guts. Due to this, he steals a GJP bill and presents it as his own.

That evening Min is distracted during her law lessons with Joon Ha. He asks her what she's thinking about. She tells him this cockamamie story about hungry children, he thinks she's worried about African kids. ¬.¬ It's hilarious but I have to wonder if there are no hungry South Korean children for her to think of, just the lack of a Korean Steve Jobs.

Soo is having dinner with Sun Hee but she's getting too excited. Poor chihuahua. She tried to kiss him on the elevator and he shuts her down. He thought she'd be more mature. Riiight ¬.¬. He isn't coffee-ing or dinnering with her. He leaves, she falls part and heads to Joon Ha's house.

Min leaves her lesson with Joon Ha and tries to text Soo. She ends up texting 'eat', he calls and asks what's up. And she asks if he's eating, he remembers Meng telling him if he's asked whether he's eaten, he should say no. So he says no, she invites him to a BBQ meat canteen that does not have a TV and proceeds to feed him to death. Soo is both overjoyed and in despair.

Joon Ha finds Hee Sun in front of his apartment bawling like a child. She looks to him for comfort. She ends up sleeping on his couch.

Min dreams about jumping Soo's bones. She decides she's dreamt about him because he has a devastating smile. The devastating is mine, she just says nice, but by Jove, his smile is on another level of attractive smiles @.@

She tries to get him off her mind by reciting the Republic's constitution. She falls asleep at her desk.

Soo goes running and runs into Aunt. They greet each other coldly and awkwardly at first, but Soo remembers that he has to charm her so that she can like him and he can date Min in peace, at least, at the home front.

So he decides to help her. He easily charms her socks off. Aunt lays all her troubles with Min on his feet, he agrees with everything she says. When they reach the homestead, he's about to leave, but she invites him in for a glass of water and he smiles like a Cheshire cat that just got in the cream.

He's only allowed to be in the entry way while he drinks his water. Aunt goes to the loo. Min wakes up, drags her sleep drunk self out of her room into the kitchen where Soo enjoys the view. She wonders out loud why was it him she dreamt about.

She turns to find him in her entryway posing. She is in shock and wonders if she's still dreaming. He deduces she dreamt of him. But she's shocked he's in her house and throws a towel at him just as Aunt returns. She scolds Min or being rude but Min wonders why she's invited him into the house. It degenerates into an argument waking Bo Ri, he quietly leaves. But once he's out, he wonders what Min dreamt of,  it doesn't matter it's of him so gives one of his heart-stopping grins and runs home.

When he's gone Min heads to the bathroom to wash up. She bemoans that he saw her morning face, and the dream and decides it's cos of the pictures. She decides to delete them, but realises she's left her tablet at Joon's place and he must not see. So she hurries to Joon Ha's place, and uses the bell but there is no answer. So she uses the code and enters to find Hee Sun just waking up.There is a cat fight as usual, made even worse because Min thinks Joon Ha and Hee Sun are in a relationship.

It shakes up long dormant memories of Joon Ha and Min Young liking each other, but being slow to admitting it. To the pair's dismay, their brother and sister beat them to it announcing they were getting married, making them off limits to each other from the societal point of view. Min was very upset about it.

Personally I don't think their like for each other was strong enough, 'cos if it was a strong biological attraction on both their parts coupled with the 'likey-likey', this shit would not have mattered, but here we are, without their reticence there would be no story. Or it could have turned into a melodrama, with Min and Soo carrying out an affair behind Joon Ha's back.

She is still deep in thought at work, when she runs into Soo who is on a high. He wonders if she's still hung up about the dream, but she denies it. He's not bothered and enters the conference room she was going to. Its an inter-party negotiation that the old fogeys engineered.

FPP's leader feels keeping Min and Soo together would yield interesting results. Daddykins wonders if he's hoping to cause a repeat of an incident where people from the GKP left and to join the minority party. The FPP leader, who I am now going to dub the Harlot King, denies it, but Daddykins isn't buying that shit.

After the meeting, Min leaves distractedly while Soo watches like he does. She meets Joon Ha and another person on the way, she is still upset with Joon Ha. So she greets the other person but ices Joon Ha. Which is just hypocrisy. We humans are hypocritical creatures. I suppose she is not shagging Soo...yet! But she will be, so shouldn't she be buying goodwill and understanding now? I feel sorry for Joon Ha 'cos it's just a misunderstanding and the gorgon ain't listening.
Anyhoo, she tried to work hard for her money but finds she can't concentrate. Riiight ¬.¬. She takes a walk with Dong Sook, and they chat about the mystery man that Min is attracted to. And Min's sudden remembrance of old times. It's a purge, sister, to clear your soul for the new man. While they are chatting, Soo sees them and begins grinning like an idiot.

Min crouches down to look at something for a long ass time, heaven knows what she's doing down there, probably peeing so that when Sang Soo comes with Soo's coffee he sees only Dong Sook, he thinks Dong Sook is Soo's mystery woman.

As they leave, Yoon Hee joins the two ladies. She sees Song Soo but he doesn't acknowledge her. So she's a bit peeved. Dong Sook asks what's up, she says there's someone she thinks likes her. Dong Sook bemoans her lack of a crush. Yoon Hee gets a call; their bill has been stolen. Bo Shik submitted it as part of his own.

Dong Sook goes she-hulk on Bo Shik

Soo tries to talk to Min, but she's dropped temperatures again. They go to the roof where he apologises for being careless, it is his fault the bill was stolen. She absolves him, he was only trying to keep his promise and help her. He's surprised she's not being her usual blamey self, but she says that who put out the bill is not a big deal, as long as it is passed. He feels this is the time she should be angry, because she most likely will not be credited for creating it. But she tells him whether she's angry or nor that is up to her. If he wants to help her he should leave her be, because he's always on her mind and she can't focus on her work. She gets shouty. And he says hearing her words, she must be angry with him, but she says its not all him but he's distracting her.

Soo Young kisses her. Whilst she stands like there like a fish.

Woohoo! Kiss!!!! In episode 6! Ack, I should not get too excited they would starve us till episode 10, knowing this useless writers. One the generalities, politics is boring as fuck unless Kim Soo Young is involved. Otherwise, I'm skipping. I think I am going to say this in every review, Shin Ha Kyun is  pleasure to watch. He is so vibrant and gleeful, you believe Kim Soo Young exists and he wants to run away with Min Young. You easily believe he'll use the slightest opening, the flimsiest excuse to be alone with her. Lee Min Jun on the other has could step it up a little, she's getting eclipsed by a better actor. I hope she's taking notes. Even if she's getting married, there's no need for this somewhat okay performance. Ha Kyun is producing all the chemistry here, and this is cake walk for him. Unless that's all she wrote in terms of her acting prowess. I hear she was in Boys over Flowers ¬.¬ *side eye of doom* nuff said. I feel so sorry for Joon Ha, and want to beat him at the same time. He's just too pitiful. Life favours the risk takers, that's why Soo wins. Not just because Soo's smile could ignite the ships Helen's face launched.
