‘I don’t know.’ He said to the taxi driver.

‘Yeah?’

‘…’

The cabbie frowned wondering whether his passenger was doing something to the invader.

Do-hoon did not know himself; he was shackled to a ghost. But here was a woman he obviously did not know, he had never seen her face before. Since she got in, his chest began hurt and his throat had constricted. Yet, he felt that he had met her before…long ago. (Zuben: Long ago, in a land far far away...lived an idiot)

The woman moaned and shifted, and ended up with her head on his chest. Do-hoon was surprised he threw his body back against the seat.

‘What is happening now?’ the driver asked. To him, the whole situation was becoming absurd.

When her fingers clung onto him, he felt like he was ignited.  A strange current flowed through from that hand into his body.

Why was this happening?

‘If you don’t know the person, do you want me to leave him at a police station somewhere?’ the taxi driver said, but his voice sounded far away. Do-hoon felt like reality had become like a slow-motion video.

The woman was sleeping with her red lips slightly parted; her breathing was short. He could not leave her outside in a police box. He did not know why he just felt strongly about it. He shook her, trying to wake her, and asked, ‘Hey, where do you live?’

‘…station.’

He carefully shook her shoulder again.

‘Where is your house?’

‘New…light…’

‘New Light?

‘…’

Silence.

He took a deep breath. What the hell am I doing now? He didn’t understand his own actions.

‘Please go to New Light Station.’ He told the taxi driver.
