Babo Besties' Impure Relationship XXI
‘So, when did this…happen?’
Was it before Kevin and Yira did the shoot? Everyone looked rather embarrassed, but Yira told them it was okay.
She went to sit at her desk.
Kevin, who had remained quiet, rose out of his chair and walked out of the office. As he passed Gye-eul he had a mocking smile on his lips.
Gye-eul followed.
Yira sensing something off, followed them.
Gye-eul wanted to warn him off Yira. Following Kevin, he met him staring out into the distance at the roof top garden.
‘That’s a relief, I thought Miss Yira was having a hard time alone.’ Kevin said calmy, still looking ahead.
Gye-eul frowned.
‘But it makes no difference.’ Kevin continued.
‘What did you say?’ Gye-eul was confused, why did it make no difference.
Kevin looked at him nonchalantly, ‘Because she’s just a notch in your bedpost to you.’
‘What?’
‘Isn’t that true?’
Gye-eul’s fists clenched.
‘I know you have been friends since you were children, but I also know how hard you have been on Miss Yira.’
‘I beg your pardon.’ (Zuben: Cos this doesn’t make any sense to me)
‘I don’t believe she is happy in her relationship with you, CEO Cha.’ (Zuben: Well, he is all about the sex, and nothing else…)
Winter was gobsmacked. How dare this man be so presumptuous? He glared at Kevin Yoon.
‘I don’t think that it is any of your business whether or not someone else is happy in their relationship or not.’ Gye-eul replied through gritted teeth.
‘I do care, she is the woman I am in love with.’
‘What?!’
‘You may have publicly declared your relationship today, but like I told Yira, I don’t care if you are dating, she will be mine eventually.’
‘You son of a bitch.’ Gye-eul was amazed by his deluded self-confidence.
‘What is certain is that I love Miss Yira more deeply than you do, than you ever will. You probably know that, don’t you, Mr Cha?’
Gye-eul’s reply was a punch.
‘You son of a bitch!’
Kevin retaliated, and the two men rushed at each other. They ended up on the floor, rolling and punching.
Yira couldn’t believe her eyes.
‘Both of you, stop it!’ she cried.
The two men ignored her; they had lost rationality. On a hot dirty roof, on a hot summer, they punched each other till their faces were swollen red with bruises and blood.
A fight over Yira.
