Babo Besties' Impure Relationship XX

Gye-eul also sat hopelessly on his living room floor staring at the door. He couldn’t understand why he couldn’t help remembering the look on Kevin’s face next to Yira. The moment he raised his hand to touch her, Gye-eul felt like a fuse blew in his brain, and his heart would go berserk. He realised this animalistic instinct was none other than possession.

But she didn’t trust him.

He thought of her wounded expression, her tears, and he felt like he had fallen into an abyss.

He rose and stormed out of his door, up the stairs and banged on her door.

‘Open the door I need to speak to you.’

He rang her bell and banged her door, but she would not answer.

‘Hong!’ he called mournfully.

There was no sign of her inside.

Regret flooded in. Why had he expressed his love for her so violently?

He rang the bell again.

‘Yira, please, open the door.’

He knocked.

‘Hong Yira.’

He didn’t want her to tell him they were through because she didn’t trust him. That was the situation he was most afraid of.

‘Goddammit!’

He was so frustrated. Before they knew it, their dynamics had changed, and he was the one now hanging off her every move – completely.

‘I never did anything with her, please believe me. Open the door and let’s talk. Please?’

As he was about to knock again, the door opened and he entered quickly. While Yira went to her kitchenette and sat at the table without looking at him.

‘Hong,’ he had missed her so much, he hugged her but she was cold to him.

‘I’m really sorry about last night. I must have been crazy. I’m so sorry.’ He said.

The sight of Gye-eul apologising like this eased Yira’s anger a little.

‘I didn’t mean to be so mean to you…’ (Zuben: Then you shouldn’t have done it, should you?)

‘Then why did you do it?’ she asked coldly.

Their eyes met, and he could see that her eyes were red and swollen; she must have cried the whole night.

‘I was just so angry. I just went crazy. I’m so sorry.’

Hearing his explanation, tears filled Yira’s eyes again.

‘Fine; tell me what happened with that woman.’

He sighed, and a clumsy explanation emerged. (Zuben: You also got some ‘splaining to do, girl)
