I have to say this drama does not inspire deep thoughts but I am enjoying the entertaining story. Apologies to my 1-2...readers, I got carried away playing video games last weekend.
There is a nice upswing of kinship development, are we going to get our obligatory episode 10 kiss or are they going to hold out on us? (Please don't Hong Sisters! Age Rating 15 requires at lease two kisses per episode from episode 10) I can't believe I'm begging for two paltry kisses on an age rating 15!
As for the ghosts of the week, I wished the writers had been brave enough to make the grandson's love a boy. It's a comedic story so the undying love could have been a guy no one would take it seriously, would they? Is Korean 15 different from Western 15? Or is that a stupid question? The doggy story was hilarious and sweet, and I liked how they changed it up with Joong Won doing the 'redeem yourself' spiel. But do Koreans like killing themselves in public places? For maximal traumatising of strangers?

Tae Yang is attracted to Joong Woo, but she tries not to make a big deal about it. To her, they are of vastly different levels and it's more important to keep in his good graces. His presence is giving her strength to carry on day by day, because she knows he'll be there for her. But for how long? Realistically, how is she going to explain to her hypothetical future boyfriend that she needs to go and hug/touch another man to keep the ghosts away? How would he explain it to his future girlfriend? Yeah I know they are going to end up together but realistically...
Tae Yang has also gotten a warning of dire tidings if she ever relaxes, which she's already doing with Joong Won in her life. I'm guessing there's going to be another ghostly puppet show soon.
Joong Woo on his part is getting attached to Tae Yang. He is also getting protective, although I'm sure no one would want anybody to confront a depressed man with an assault rifle or what ever that gun was. Even though he tells her she is a bother, he is still listens to her and advices her on Kang Woo, who has now been dubbed Sweet Kang. There is little doubt all of that kinship is making him attached, since he is also opening up, making jokes and telling her about his dyslexia.
Secretary Kim on the other hand is seems more and more relieved that the boss is changing from robot to human or is that just me?
Do you think he's going to kiss her or is he just going to scold her for making him hope her magic suggestion could work? I pick the latter or the third option: Secretary Kim will interrupt him.
As for Kang Woo, I still don't get his deal, general consensus is that he likes Tae Yang but I'm not feeling it. I guess he did tell the 'President' he wasn't reporting about Tae Yang anymore but why was he reporting in the first place without the true low down? And why on earth was he blatantly laying out all of his mission for any Tom, Dick and Yi Ryeong to hear in the middle of a public place. It was such a stilted and contrived method of making her a player in the love quadrangle. Although more Kang Woo and Yi Ryeong interacting is great, they sizzle on screen.
Aunt and her rich lady obliviousness and the incompetent Uncle make me chuckle, they have such funny interactions
Poor scam artist kids, they are the most grim of the characters in this tale, that could be 'cos they are kids. But their lives are just...and poor younger brother/sister drags a demonic doll into their home. After these sunny episodes, it seems that the next ones are going to a bit more cloudy.
