Xiao spends these episodes being annoying in an amusing way, a hard thing to pull off in my book. Zhen on the other hand remains cute with his expressions, he clearly likes her and he'll do whatever to make sure she's comfortable around him even plaster himself to a small elevator wall to give her space. Whilst she spends the whole time behaving like a ding bat.
Xiao is told by Gao her business is in trouble. She takes ineffectual steps to sort it. Zhen sticks his neck out to help her and find out his dad is behind it all. He gets into a fight with his Dad over Xiao, but wonders whose side to take.
He asks Xiao for advice on her radio show, she says that he should take his parents side, which is what she'd do. Xiao is too much of a black and white person for my tastes but she and Zhen have grabbed my heart by the balls so I shall continue watching. Zhen flashes back, they have made a lot of memories together is a short time, so he decides to help her whilst trying to find out if his father personally offended Xiao and her own.
He spends NT$300000 to win her $200000 for her business tax.
He makes her buy a lotto ticket
She loses.
He exchanges the ticket, the crook that he is.
She thanks her lucky home-run ball.
And becomes her business development manager, in spite of his dad's anger. He turns out to be the most effective one of those I have encountered. They certainly aren't this proactive in real life.
Within a few days of taking on the job, whilst sneakily doing his original work, he's finds furniture company to advertise on her show, that his father can't touch. And contrived situation happens on an IKEA bed. I can't tell you how stupidly it was done.
Her colleagues tease her about him. He has put in great effort in such a short time. He must like her. She tells Gao about it, who asks if she likes him but she evades the question, saying she's too hungry to answer.
Gao is afraid of the answer for he wants Xiao for himself.
The next day, Mu Si and the rest of the radio brigade put it in her head that Zhen is in love with her.
He does, we know that but what I don't get is why
she got so flustered. Mu Si (James), I just realised, is in the OP for some reason. Someone who has tried very hard to help with your problems obviously cares for you. His dressing even changes to brighter colours instead of black, black and black. Drives into someone's car for you and plays all round cheerleader. His kindness is not a new thing to her, they spent two whole episodes together. But there is no reason for her to think it is like-love. But maybe she wants it to be, but is too afraid to admit it to herself. Hence the silliness.
Well Mu Si thinks he's going to confess soon, in three steps

- Hand holding and Hugging
- Kissu!
So when Zhe, being his usual charming self, he gives her flowers that he got for donating to charity, she freaks out thinking he's beginning steps of confession according to Mu Si.

They get trapped in the elevator and, she's freaking out cos she nervous spending too long in enclosed spaces. Although Gao says, she's nervous in the dark. The elevator was brightly lit and she was not alone so I think her silliness was more to do with her attraction to Zhen rather than claustrophobia. He stands close to her and she's freaking out, he tries to hold her hand like he'd normally do to calm her down, she freaks out, spending the whole time thinking all his natural actions are in preparation to confess.
I was in stitches when she shouted, 'Kiss!' in his arms. And then jumps away like he's the one who grabbed her to him. I'm like you jumped on him, sister! He on the other hand plasters himself against the wall to give her 'space'.

He gets a visit from his sister, they are touchy feely. Xiao and her friend happen upon the scene, so she thinks Ying Ying is Zhen's new girlfriend.

So she's super cold in addition to being weird to him even though he's still caring to her.
Zhen on his own part is confused about Xiao's behaviour because she won't talk to him about what's wrong with her, since her ailment is him. He tries not to be jealous of Xiao's and Zhe Xuan's closeness

The situation between Xiao and Elder Zhou is petty. Though it is for his children's sake it is still pettiness. The poor need to vent their frustration about the unfair advantages the rich have. What does it matter? He and his friends are rich, they can still go about doing as they please. Okay so he's a good guy in a way and the things she's put out there are a bit biased and twisted, it's an unfair world out there, at least, he can use his ill gotten money to cushion the blow. But we all know no one wants to be told they are wrong least of all rich people who have the money to enact revenge. They meet at a retirement home, where Xiao is doing her Mary Sue duties, though he doesn't realise she's his detractor because she's in disguise. She tries everything to make him show his 'true colours' but he remains kind and courteous. In this scenes, I wonder if Annie Chen can cook, 'cos she just dithers about, while Elder Zhou chops up pigs feet and practically cooks it. She chops a few vegetables uselessly. They share a Coke, he pronounces them friends.
She tells Zhen she's sorta changed her mind about Elder Zhou, he seems like a kind man. He is very happy about it, and I think this won't last. Sure enough Elder Zhou pulls a selfish one again, by reserving five tables but using only one, so no one else could use it. Xiao is witness and it lights her fires again.
Zhen is scared his father will start his bullying again but his father give him three month to change Xiao's mind about him. But also warns Zhen that he's not the only one Xiao has offended. Rich people, seriously.
Gao afraid that Xiao may be falling for Zhen presses his advantage with a trip down memory lane. He asks her to love him.
But memories are not enough.
I like that the Gao confession did not last long. Their relationship was just full of nostalgia, thank goodness Zhen has totally taken over Xiao and it was not allowed to drag indefinitely. Ying Ying has better chemistry with him anyway. It's nice that we are moving swiftly in the direction of them shacking up (in my fantasies). She brings out passionate responses in him and he challenges her preconceptions and cons her into being a better person.
Ying Yings 'dislike' of Xiao escalates in her head she convinces Fei Li, Zhen's reformed gangster secretary to go beat Gao up. Fei Li knows Ying Yings personality so he and Gao talk it out. Gao convinces Fel Li to punch him thinking it will end Ying Ying's interference in his life but she feels guilty
so she buys him medicine...
which he throws away because she's a pest.
He loses his temper with her and calls her a useless person in essence, she in turn decides she want to be a business woman to show him she's not useless.
She convinces her dad and brother Zhen, to give her money for the enterprise and makes Goody Gao her accountant. He refuses at first, prepared to resign from his company. But after she faints from one sleepless night of work, Zhe Xuan looks over the proposal, her brother wrote for her though he does not know that and acquiesces.
Eventually, the misunderstanding Xiao about Ying Ying and Zhen is cleared up,
I'm glad the misunderstanding was not dragged on for too long. Zhen feels stupid.
Xiao and Zhen return to normal on a trip to donate some stuff to a school in the boonies.
But after their fun day, one of the kids who's taken a shine to Xiao gets hit by a drunk driver. It triggers a flash back of her brother's death. The driver, who Xiao knows by name, is about to run. Xiao tries to stop him. She jumps in the crazy bastard's car to get him to take responsibility. But bangs her head and faints? Her head must be like an egg shell.
Zhen is left to find her, even though he's in pain from his injury.
Next episode, a delirious Zhen confesses he cares a great deal about her and he does not want her to drift away from him. Maybe James was right after all...
