When Rabbit Met Wolf 17 - 18
17 Party.
Xiao Tu thought this: since it was
personal, you have to let some people live! (Zuben: Que?)
To be blunt, you have to have a
benevolent character! (Zuben: Riiight) She had eaten him twice, and now she had
to do her best to compensate their injured heart.
Alas, dark thunder clouds rolling
in, times have really changed; it is now the women’s turn to take
responsibility. (Zuben: If you paid better attention, you would realise it is
you who is being eaten to the bones)
It is not a day or two since I’ve
lost my colour. It’s really a disaster! Had I known, I might as well have eaten
this damned Wolf dry. But the problem is, I don’t remember anything – it is
like I haven’t tasted any sweets! She bemoaned slamming her small fists on the
duvet.
There was a gentle but brisk knock
on the door. She quickly put away her punches.
‘Xiao San nian nian, please come
down to breakfast when you’re ready. The old lady and the others are waiting
for you.’
Xiao Tu was petrified: Xiao San
Nian nian!!! Holy mother of god, this family is really hungry. As soon as they
met her they were already giving her this title?! It was a good thing Xiao Tu
was made of sterner stuff, any other girl would have bolted.
Not hearing any movement, and the
door did not open, Li Mama never realised the little that she’s given Xiao Tu
was causing silent chaos. She called again, ‘Xiao san nian nian, are you
awake?’
Her voice pulled back Xiao Tu’s
wandering soul and she helplessly accepted her fate, ‘Thank you, I’ll be right
down.’ She replied with cheerfulness she didn’t feel.
She went downstairs to accept the
baptism of the Lang family eyes, she smiled as she greeted everyone, trying to
keep her facial muscles from cramping.
If you owe someone, you have to
relieve the disaster for them.
It was a very difficult breakfast;
she wanted to get a slice of bread, she looked up and saw Mother wolf smiling
at her. She immediately forgot the bread and smiled back.
As soon as she wanted to take a
drink of her tea, she saw Mama Lang smiling gently at her, and she forgot about
her tea.
These people are killing her!
The most irritating thing was that
before she even could eat, everyone was full and left the table. How could she,
a guest, remain at the table when the hosts have left the table?! With one more
sullen look at the food, she was about to rise and follow the family.
‘Niannian, you go and play. Let Xiao
Tu accompany me for a bit more.’ Lang Lang said to his mother.
Xiao Tu looked at Lang Lang with a
feeling of profound gratitude. This is the first time he’d said words that
moved her. For allowing me to have my breakfast in peace, I am willing to go through
fire and water with you! (Zuben: Tutu, you’re too easily moved.)
‘Don’t just stare. They’re gone.
Eat quickly.’ He said. He was very happy at her adoring gaze but he pretended
to be cold. (Author: Sometimes I want to ask Lang Lang, aren’t you tired of
pretending like this every day)
Xiao Tu’s emotions were like a
surging river, she couldn’t help but grasp his arm her eyes were full of love
bubbles, ‘Director,’ she said with a sweet smile, ‘you’re a really good man.’
Lang Lang was very happy to hear this.
For the first time, he felt the fun of being a coquettish black bellied man.
He’s the one that manipulated Tutu into this situation, but here she was
thinking he was a good man.
Ha ha ha, so cool!
(Author: Er, your psychology is
abnormal and inconsistent with your handsome face. Zuben: You created the
fellow😐)
Feeling the warmth of her touch on
his arm, his heart is full of spring breezes. His face on the other hand was
bland and cold.
‘I am a good man, but you have not
been straight with me again and again. We’re partners, you can’t do this on an empty
stomach.’
Hearing this, Xiao Tu wanted to
leap and hug him.
(Author: Ah, Xiao Tu, you have
forgotten how you admonished yourself?)
Lang Lang stared at Xiao Tu’s hand
on his arm and the surging in his heart nearly reached his eyes,
‘But you should be a little
restrained when you’re moved. Don’t always touch someone just because you’re
appreciative. It’s fine this time, but don’t forget next time.’
Lang Lang’s best skill is probably
this; he can make Xiao Tu fly to heaven in one moment and plummet her down to
hell in the next.
Xiao Tu’s smile immediately fell,
the popping hearts sank, and she took her hand off his arm. She turned to eat her
breakfast quietly.
Lang Lang stared at her downturned
mouth and suddenly remembered last night’s doings. The heated kisses, her sweet
breath that made him ecstatic, he could feel his loins tighten. He really
wanted to swallow this rabbit whole. In a few days, when she’s done, he must
get her drunk again. This time to thoroughly eat and wipe clean!
Silly Tutu ate her bread while the
bad Lang Lang thought diabolical thoughts about how he was going to swallow the
rabbit.
After breakfast, Xiao Tu spent some
time with the Lang family. She found that although they were rich, they were
rather cute.
Grandpa Lang doesn’t feel
comfortable if he didn’t have a tipple or two a day. But Lang Niangnian did not
like the smell of alcohol on his body. She was told that Grandpa Lang, in his
younger romantic days, almost cheated on Lang Niannian when he was young. Since
then, Lang Niannian did not allow him to drink. Grandpa Lang would by alcohol
with his pocket money and would hide it, and then forget where he hid it.
Lang father and Lang mother; no
matter where Lang Father sat, Lang Mother would stick to his side. Just like
now, Lang Mother ate a piece of sugar paper, then she picked up another piece
and held it up to Papa Lang. Papa Lang looked around at the rest of his family
and was a little embarrassed to open his mouth, but Mama Wolf called,
‘Husband~’ in a sickly sweet tone.
His face went red, and he opened his mouth for Mama Wolf to feed him. But just
as the sugar was about to enter his mouth, Mama Wolf ate it instead! And
laughed at Papa Lang.
What kind of family is this?!
Out of all these weird people, the
person that made her the most tired was this little wolf cub, the five year old
son of Lang Lang’s sister, whom she met at breakfast.
He made such a fuss, Xiao Tu was
run dizzy by the child.
‘Xiao Tu, you’ve made a mistake
again! It’s not that hard to spell. You’re so stupid.’ Xiao Tu and Nao sat
amongst a pile of puzzles. Xiao Tu burst into laugher laced with annoyance.
‘Ha ha, I’m really stupid. You’re
very smart, so it would be too boring to play with me. You play by yourself.’
Xiao Tu was about to get up and leave, but the little pup grabbed her leg.
‘It’s okay, I don’t dislike you. I
like rabbits and like you, too. I liked you as soon as I saw you, so I will
tolerate your shortcomings. Don’t be unhappy. You’re very smart. I shouldn’t
call you stupid, a good man shouldn’t hurt his beloved woman.’
Xiao Tu felt like lightning had
struck her, and her face twitched in a crooked smile. This child; isn’t he only
five? (Zuben: Y’all can’t write children!)
‘So noisy,’ Lang Lang who’d been
watching them, tried to rescue Tutu from Nao-nao’s clutches, ‘don’t pester your
little aunt. Let’s go outside to play.’
Nao-nao screamed, ‘She’s not my
little aunt, she’s my wife. I want to play with my wife. I want to play with
Tutu. Let go of me!’
Lang Grandma loved her baby great
grandson the most, could not bear to see him cry. She immediately shouted at
Lang Lang, ‘Put Nao-nao down. Really distressing me. You’re an adult, why are
you tousling with your nephew. He’s just a child.’
Lang Lang reluctantly put the
little devil down. Once released, he immediately rushed to Xiao Tu crying,
‘Xiao Tu, uncle…uncle bullied me! Lang Lang is a big villain.’
Seeing his little pink face wet
with tears, Xiao Tu’s heart hurt, she picked him up despite wanting to get away
from him only just a moment ago.
‘Don’t cry, Nao-nao. He’s a bad
guy. Let’s ignore him and stop crying. It’s hurts me if you cry like this.’ She
said trying to placate Nao.
He put his chubby hands around Xiao
Tu’s neck, ‘Tutu, do you really love me.’
Xiao Tu wiped the tears on his face
nodded enthusiastically, ‘Yes. I love you, little ancestor. Don’t cry.’
In an instant, the tears stopped
flowing, ‘Alright, I won’t cry, just love me.’ And gave her a bright smile.
And for the rest of the day, the
kid stuck to her like a barnacle. When she sat, she had to have the little ancestor
on her lap. When she ate lunch, she had to feed the little ancestor. When she
walked, she had to carry the little ancestor with her so he can eat melon seeds
on her shoulder. The only free time she had was when she went to the toilet.
Xiao Tu cherished this time very much, she tried to stay there as long as
reasonably possible so she could have a reprieve. (Zuben: I don’t blame you)
It was like she’d given birth to
her own child.
That evening, when it was time to
get ready for the dance party, Lang Lang, who’d been ignored all day, came to
get her.
‘Xiao Tu, it’s time to change for
the dance.’
Xiao Tu glanced up at Lang Lang to
see his expression was green, glaring at Nao. He was staring at though he was
looking at an adulterer. Xiao Tu chuckled, ‘Little ancestor, I need to go and
dress up. You play by yourself.’
Lang Lang was incensed, what the
fuck was she doing? Reporting to this little hairball first? Who is your man?
Xiao Tu was about to put him down,
but Nao clung on for dear life, ‘No, I’m going with you!’
She laughed in playfully pinched
his cheek, ‘I’m going to change my clothes, you can’t go with me. You’re only
little.’
She was only being playful, but the
little wolf cub replied, ‘You’re my wife, I am going to see it sooner or later,
better sooner!’
Xiao Tu was rendered speechless
while Lang Lang could bear it no longer, he called his sister who was cuddling
on the sofa with her husband, ‘Sis, hurry and take your son away or don’t blame
me for being cruel.’
18 The pervy rabbit has been
caught.
Lang Hu, Lang Lang’s elder sister,
reluctantly parted from her handsome husband, glared at Lang Lang and picked up
her son.
‘Nao, let Tutu change her clothes.
She’ll look even more lovely.’
One could not match the thought
process of a five-year-old, his next words shocked everyone, ‘She must look
good without clothes, I want to see! I want to see!’
Lang Lang’s face turned green. He
glared at his elder sister.
Lang Hu smirked; how could my son
say such a thing? I don’t know, she seemed to imply.
‘Nao, be obedient. Listen to your
mother. If Tutu doesn’t want you to see, you can’t see. You have to do as she
says or she won’t like you.’ Lang Hu said, thinking he would understand, but he
surpassed her expectation.
‘No, mommy, you’re lying! You
didn’t want to take a bath with daddy, but in the end your come out smiling.’
(Zuben: Shouldn’t the child be in bed before you parents are going this
shenanigans)
The audience was petrified. Lang
Hu’s face was so red she almost popped. This time, the hero of the moment Cheng
Kai, Lang Hu’s husband, coughed and rose from the softa. He walked up to his
wife and son and took his son, and calmly led them away.
Lang Lang took the opportunity to
take Xiao Tu away. Behind them she could hear him shouting, ‘No! Xiao Tu! Xiao
Tu! I wanna go too! Don’t leave me!’ he cried.
His crying was so sad, it made the
listener shed tears. Xiao Tu couldn’t bear to look back. Lang Lang pulled her
into the guest room she had been assigned and pressed her against the door.
He stared down at her.
Ai! Ai! Although she was enjoying
him pressed against her, she didn’t want him to claim she was taking advantage
of him.
She reached out to push him again,
but he grabbed her hand. Xiao Tu really didn’t want to be accused of any more
perversion and was about to defend herself when he spoke.
‘Stay away from that boy!’
Uh…Xiao Tu swallowed, ‘Di-director,
are you well?’
He really looked like a husband who
thought his wife was cheating on him. But they weren’t in that sort of
relationship. Director Lang, you’re method acting ah!
Hearing her call him director
snapped Lang Lang out of his jealousy. He quickly stepped away and said, ‘I am
just afraid of the child getting too attached. Get dressed. I will do your make
up, we don’t want to be too late.’
Xiao Tu was pushed into the
bathroom with her dress by a guilty Lang Lang.
🐺
The crystal chandelier in the
living room was dimmed and small wall lamps were lit. The golden glow set off
an ambiguous atmosphere.
When Xiao Tu came down with Lang Lang
and saw the scene, she was amazed. Everyone was dressed up; the men in tuxedos and
the ladies in glittering dresses. Even the little guy was all dressed up.
Oh no! She shouldn’t have looked at
him for he seemed to feel her gaze and immediately ran over to hug Xiao Tu’s
legs. Xiao Tu was wearing a short green silk cocktail dress. Lang Lang
immediately picked him up and handed him off to his parents with a killing glare.
His parents noted his expression
and kept Nao close. If he came at Tutu again, Lang Lang would make life
difficult for them.
Just then Mama Lang clapped
catching everyone’s attention, ‘Children, we aren’t strangers to this dance
party! No need to say much; dance and be merry!’
All the couples leapt up gaily and
began to dance. It was a very lovely scene.
As she swayed to the music, Lang
Lang said to her, ‘May I have this dance?’
She looked up to see him bowing
with his hand held out to her. There seemed to be sparkles around him, Xiao
Tu’s face reddened, she really couldn’t resist this best Wolf.
She placed her hand in his and he
pulled her to the dance floor.
He place his hand on her waist and
held the other high, and led her in a simple two-step in time with the slow
song.
Xiao Tu felt like his hand around
her waist was going to burn her through the thin dress. His slow pace made her
step wrong frequently. Xiao Tu felt very embarrassed and gave him an apologetic
smile. (Zuben: He’s probably causing it so he can hold her tighter or
something)
Lang Lang looked down at her lovely
and shy appearance, and his eyes darkened. He loosened the grip on her hand and
held her waist with both hands.
‘If I hold you, you won’t misstep.’
Xiao Tu was about to explode. They
were so close together, the temptation was infinite. She lowered her head syly
and put her hands on his shoulders, and followed his lead.
Just as Xiao Tu was gradually
intoxicated by the sensuous atmosphere, the music suddenly changed to upbeat
Latin music.
Xiao Tu was stunned awake, and
looked up at her. He smiled, and pulled her into the changed tempo.
Xiao Tu couldn’t keep up with the
new tempo. Around them, everyone had stopped and was standing and clapping,
cheering them on.
‘You’re too stiff.’ He whispered in
her ear, ‘Let go and let me lead.’
Before she could think, he hugged
her and started to spin. She didn’t
really know how she kept up with his wild rhythm. She felt dizzy and could only
be manipulated by him. The room was spinning, it felt like a dream, stuck in between
light and shadow. He was so handsome and tempting.
As the tempo heightened, Xiao Tu
was at a loss. He let her go, holding her hand and standing away from her. He
gave her a charming smile, and yanked off her shawl.
Xiao Tu hurriedly tried to catch
the shawl. Her dress was a strapless with a low sweetheart neckline. He had
told her she could wear the shawl, why was he taking it now?! (Zuben: He’s bored and
wants to see your boobies)
Despite her panic, Lang Lang drew
her back and slid close to her body according to the rhythm of the music. His
hand was over her curves, sliding over her silken shoulder, over the curve of
her breast, her slender waist, her calf. Every inch. Xiao Tu wanted him to
stop. He was too fast for her to stop him.
This was naked flirting!
He turned her around so she was
held with her back to him and twisted her around again.
The music reached climax, and the
drums were loud and bracing. He spun her around and hooked her waist to him.
When the music reached crescendo,
and suddenly stopped, Xiao Tu was tilted over his arm. He was leaning over her,
so close she could see the fire in his eyes.
At that moment, Xiao Tu felt like
she was going to be sucked ino him. She couldn’t help but blush and her heart
thud in her chest.
🐺
The treachery of Mama Wolf and the
Bad Wolf.
‘Wolf baby, listen to mom. You must
dance well tonight! You must completely shock Tutu, knock her off her
equilibrium, let her be charmed by you, and then take her in on fell swoop.
‘I agree. But what dance do you
suggest?’
‘Silly son,’ she laughed, ‘Do you
still need to think about it? Of course, it is the one that shocked the whole
school!’
‘Isn’t that dance a little too
shocking?!’
‘You have to play with her heart!
Hey, do you know mom blushed when you danced it with me…’ (Zuben: This woman is something else...I dunno what it is, but something else)
